Philip Aldous was born and raised in Bedfordshire, England. Growing up, he studied a wide range of instruments to varying levels of success, including drums, guitar, violin, and viola. As a percussionist, he performed in various youth orchestras and concert bands. He holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and Technology for Film and Games from the University of Hertfordshire, alongside a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire.
Philip currently lives in Bedfordshire, with his cavalier, Louie. He primarily composes music for audio-visual media, such as film and games. He has experience composing music in a range of genres, including classical, electronic, lo-fi, and jazz. In 2021, he composed the soundtrack for Inspector Waffles, a point and click adventure game by French developer Goloso Games and published by Hitcents. After the game’s successful PC launch, a Nintendo Switch release was announced for later in the year.
